THS Presentations in Video

THS monthly meeting presentations are on the web at http://vimeo.com/channels/tucsonherp!

Our society has been recording monthly meeting presentations since May 2008. Video archiving of our presentations allows our non-local and otherwise busy members to stay current with the THS. It also supports the THS’s mission of education.

The presentations are located on Vimeo, a video sharing website similar to YouTube, where videos can be uploaded and viewed publicly. As a viewer, I hope you’ll find Vimeo easy to navigate and comfortable for viewing of the posted videos. As the video resource manager, I have found that Vimeo allows for uploading flexibility that fits THS’s needs.

To view THS’s presentations, visit
http://vimeo.com/channels/tucsonherp. There is no need for you to join (or register for or sign-up with) Vimeo to view these videos. You will see the most recently posted presentation near the top of the page; you can play the presentation by clicking the play button () at the bottom left corner of the display. To view the presentation at full-screen, click the button () at the bottom right of the display. Click “Description” to view speaker, title and date of presentation. To view a different video, click on its thumbnail; it will now occupy the large space at the top of the site.

Each speaker has given his/her approval before posting of his/her presentation. The video resource manager (Tara Luckau) has all video release forms on file. If you have any questions, please contact Tara Luckau, THS Board Member, tkluckau@email.arizona.edu. Enjoy!
