4. How much will conference registration cost?

Student costs are very low: $45 if registering by 29 February 2008, and $95 if registering after that date.

Regular registration: $95 if registering by 29 February 2008, and $125 if registering after that date.

Banquet tickets are $35 each, and you can select what dinner you’d like: vegetarian, fish, chicken, or steak.

5. How do I register?

Registration will primarily take place online. Begin by clicking on “Registration” on the CRHSD Homepage and read the instructions given. Then fill out the online form (don’t forget to write in your banquet meal choice, if registering for the banquet, in the Special Request Box). After filling out the online registration form, you can pay with credit card using PayPal (you do not need to create a PayPal account) or mail in a check or money order to:

If you choose to mail in payment, please include a printed copy of the registration form with your name on it, so that we attribute the money to the right person! 6. What if I don’t want to use PayPal?

We would still like you to fill out the online registration form, even if you don’t want to use PayPal. After completing the online registration form, mail in a check or money order with a copy of the registration form with your name on it to:

7. When is the banquet and how do I sign up?

The banquet starts at 7:00 pm on Saturday night, 12 April 2008. You won’t want to miss the festivities and good food. The evening will be highlighted with a talk given by Dr. Cecil R. Schwalbe. You can register for the banquet online when registering for the conference.

8. How do I submit an abstract for an oral presentation?

The deadline for abstract submittal is 1 February 2008. To submit an abstract, click on “Call for Papers” on the CRHSD homepage and read the instructions. Then click on “Step one of the submission process” at the bottom of the page. Under the section titled “Conference Track,” you will have 2 options: Oral Presentation or Poster. Select “CRHSD IV Oral Presentation” and then click on "Save and Continue." You may then begin entering the authors of the paper. Additional authors can be added by clicking "Add Author" at the bottom. Enter a title and abstract (up to 250 words). You can cut and paste the abstract from Microsoft Word or other word processing programs. Ignore the Supporting Agencies section. Finally, click on "Save and Continue."

9. How do I submit an abstract for a poster presentation?

10. How do I know if my online registration or abstract submission was received?

You should receive an email confirming that you created a user account, confirming conference registration, and confirming that your abstract was received. If you do not receive an email, first, please check your junk mail or spam filter and if it is not there, then feel free to email conference organizers at CRHSD4@gmail.com and they can confirm that your information was received.

11. When do I find out if my abstract was accepted?

You will be notified by 1 March 2008 whether or not your abstract was accepted.

12. What if I can’t register or submit an abstract online?

If you cannot fill out the online registration form or submit an abstract online, please contact conference organizers at CRHSD4@gmail.com so that alternative arrangements can be made.

13. Are there guidelines for presenters?

There are brief guidelines for presenters currently available on the “Call for Papers” page of the CRHSDIV website. Additional information will be provided on the website and over email after 1 March 2008.

14. What does the meeting schedule look like?

There is a general program schedule available on the CRHSD website on the Program page.

15. Why should I attend the social event on Friday night?

The social gathering at Inn Suites on Friday night, 11 April 2008, will begin around 6:00 pm. It will be a casual BBQ, and there will be free food and drinks for all who attend!

16. How can I change the font size on the registration pages?

There are three icons, boxes with a capital "A" in them, which represent different font sizes. To increase the font size, click on the icon furthest to the right for the largest font size. If it the font is still too small, use the controls on your internet browser. Press "Alt+V" in Microsoft Internet Explore or Mozilla Foxfire to get the drop down menu, then select "Text Size" and choose a size option. To decrease the font size, use the same set of icons and browser controls.
